Jordan VI Motorsports

SICK colorway for one of the least retro-ed Jordans out there, the Jordan 6. This J6 includes an extremely clean white full grain leather colorway with a shiny black sole. The white with black details is a great look, and the Jordan elephant print sockliner is just another great addition to the already fantastic shoe. Unfortunately, only 20 of these shoes will be made, so you probably will not ever even get to see these shoes in person. If you got $2500, and you happen to wear a size 9. get em here! Otherwise, just oogle at the pics over at hypebeast.

Jadakiss- Grind Hard Feat Mary J Blige

REAL nice radio friendly track by Kiss. Mary J throws out a nice chorus hook too. This could be getting some decent airplay in the upcoming months.

Another nice freestyle by the kid gunz. His lyrics are nice and his delivery is fast as hell. Gotta appreciate the kids grind.

Delta Force & Air Force 180 High Vulcanized

To me, that delta force looks like Nike's attempt at getting into the Supra skytop market. It even looks very similar to a skytop, not half as hot though. Ripoff or not, the vulcanized soles are a good look for the shoes. 

MR- Demo Track

My boy Mike surprised me one night with his lyrical ability. He can freestyle, write some great verses, and make the bitches go crazy while doing it. I will be going in the studio within the next few weeks to record the kid and make a short mixtape. Check him out and leave a comment to let me know what you think. Air Jordan 1 Mid Retro "Hare"

Fresh clean Jordan 1s, the way they were meant to be at conception so many years ago. They take cues from the Original Jordan VII "Hare".  They light grey with red colorway is really clean. The tongue, which is made from the same material as the sockliner of the original hares. They also feature an interesting hare logo on the tongue. They look very comfortable, a definite cop for any Jordan fan. They drop on 4/11 for an MSRP of $110. More pics at kixandthecity.

Vans Spring 2009 Khaki Pack

And when those microstripe Nike AM1's don't match your shorts, you can rock these fresh new kicks from Vans. I gotta be honest, I like every style in this pack, The Slip-on, Authentic, Chukka and Sk8 hi. The color is basic and clean, exactly how kicks should be. The bronze logos and laces definitely compliment the camo green color of the canvas. Rock these with the camo cargos! I guess all the kicks are matching nicely today. More pics at sneakhype.

Nike Air Max 1 Premium "Microstripe"

What a clean shoe! I never saw Nike going preppy though. A fantastic canvas seer-sucker upper with a great white midsole and an even better gum sole. This is a truly a sick pair of summer kicks to wear with those J Crew madras shorts when you get tired of the boat shoes or vans. More pics at sneakhype!

Nike SB April 2009 Releases

Maybe I spoke to soon saying SB was done with. The un-heaven's Gates actually ended up looking pretty fresh (the Dunk Hi SB black/White Purple with lt. Blue sockliner) as well as both colorways of the Dunk Mids. They will be available at UNIV by tomorrow at the latest. Some closeup pics at sneakhype.

Bottega Veneta Boat Shoes

A very interesting colorway for a boat shoe to say the least. A very good look though, considering many designers are making variations on the typical boat shoe. Not only does this shoe feature a unique brown on blue and white leather colorway, it also features a white driver's sole. I like the colorful look, it would definitely compliment a pair of straight leg khakis. More pics at selectism.

Jordan 1 Low Prom Pack

Two nice colorways for the Jordan 1 low. A black and a white patent colorway with subtle stitching and a red sockliner. They also feature thin, dress-shoe-like laces as the icing on the cake. Definitely a clean, good look for those patent leather fans. I wish they had these when I was in high school. I would've rocked em with my tux, both the black and white pair! Air Jordan V Raging Bull Grey Colorway

Ok sorry guys, false alarm on the grey colorway being as hot as the red one. It would've been fire if the grey was also suede, but it turns out they used the 3M reflective colorway, just like the green bean Vs released a couple years ago. Basically this shoe is the same as the GB's, without the green added. A definite disappointment, but the red suede pair is absolutely insane, so it's all good. They drop in May. Supra 413 series X Stubb's BBQ Skytop

Supra is doing a limited edition release of a BBQ brown Skytop this Friday between 10-11 AM at Stubb's BBQ in Austin Texas. The shoes will be encased in a wooden box along with a bottle of Stubb's BBQ sauce and an apron. A cool concept, definitely reminds me of the Concepts Lobster Dunk Low SB that dropped last year. The shoe is absolutely fresh as hell, and will be limited to 50 pairs. Wish I was in Austin to camp out and pick out these beautiful kicks. Info and more pics via suprafootwear.

New colorways for the kicks. The polka dot colorways as a little blasphemous for the classic shoe but still look very fresh. The Black and UNC blue canvas 1 mids are extremely fresh though, and definitely represent the brand well. Check out the other colors at hypebeast.

News just leaked that NikeSB is releasing the NikeSB Dunk High Gucci colorway. For those of you who don't know, until now this colorway was scrapped. In 2006, Nikesb produced approximately 30 pairs of this design. Due to it's rarity and extremely colorway, this sneaker has been one of the most sought after Nike Dunks in existence. For obvious reasons, I am absolutely in love with the leather and Denim hi-top. Nike randomly decided to release the sneaker. It will drop in the 4th quarter of 2009. Oh, My, God. These are literally fire. Made in a BEAUTIFUL red suede colorway, these are a must cop. These will also drop with a grey suede colorway, which I can assure you will be just as hot or hotter. Both feature the heavenly clear sole of course, as well as the embroidered 23 at the outer heel. This Movie Looks Like It Will Be a Classic

Best Week Ever...

So I just got back from Panama City Florida for Spring Break (#1 Spring Break Destination and home of Mtv's Spring Break of course). It was absolutely crazy. Let's start with the concerts. On Wednesday, I saw Asher Roth and Jim Jones. Asher put on a sick show with some new unreleased tracks. He really got the College kids acting in their true element when he performed his hit single. He also performed Blunt Cruise and La Di Da, which will be featured on his forthcoming album. Jim Jones also put on quite the show, performing one of my favorite tracks right now (Blow The Bank). On Thursday I saw Kid Cudi and Lil' Wayne. Cudi was a little low key considering the College Wayne fans weren't very familiar with his music. He put on a great set though. Then the self-proclaimed Martian came onstage with his whole crew, Including Mack Maine, Jae Millz, Lil' Chuckie, Nicki Minaj, Gudda Gudda and the almighty Drake. The YME crew performed Every Girl, which honestly made my trip worthwhile. On the last night, Clipse also put on a free show in the parking lot of Club Lavela. They confirmed that their first single will be with Kanye titled Kind of A Big Deal (just to clear the rumors going on about the track not being released via other blogs). They performed a sick set including the obvious Grindin and Mr. Me Too as well as some other classics like Ride Around Shining and Cot Damn. Did I mention all these concerts were free and they were on the beach in 75 degree absolutely perfect weather, with a pounding system provided by MTV?

The whole experience was really something else. I couldn't have imagined a better week to catch spring break for a rap fan. If you enjoy rap, check out Panama City Beach for spring break, trust me.
